These Boots Were Made For Walking

The rain has finally come back & for our Abbie, that’s not good news.
Still insistent on getting her daily walks, Abbie has to sport her newest set of rain booties in order to keep her paws nice and dry. Does she like them? Not one bit, but it still doesn’t stop her from enjoying her walks just like she usually does, which is always a good thing.

So how long did it took you to wrestle those things onto her? I see retribution in her eyes. You better sleep with one eye open tonite.
Abbie’s a student of the whole Ghandi style of non-violent cooperation (basically, she turns into a log). You would think that would make things easier, but there’s something very troubling about the look on her face when I’m slipping these booties onto her.
