Right There

Sometimes I find Abbie just sitting around. Just hanging out, without any real purpose, no actual reason for being where she’s at.

Sometimes it’s just in the middle of the room, or staring at the wall or the ground. And many times I’ll just catch her sitting in the middle of the stairs, just gazing into nothingness. Not lying down, not sleeping. Just sitting, looking and wondering about who knows what.

For all I know she could be working out some complex mathematical theorem in her head or reminiscing about her time as an elite Navy S.E.A.L….but most likely she’s probably just thinking about a how to get a hold of a chicken treat (or two).
