Watch Dogs
December 13, 2010
By now, you all should know how much our little girl loves to keep watch on the house. She’ll spend hours upon hours just staring outside, making sure anyone who passes by aware that this house is protected, and never shy about letting them know it with her barks.
By far, her favorite day for this is on Sundays. During her weekly trip to visit her grandparents, she’ll spend the entire time stationed right there at the front door.
And every once in a while the resident Lhasa Apso Muffee will stop by to check out what all of the commotion is about, and then leave our little Abbie alone to her duties, which she happily enjoys, without a shadow of a doubt.

I’m surprised she’s not more watchful of her grandmother sneaking up behind her with her crazy laughs and tickles. My kids have learned their lesson and now they have eyes on the back of their heads.
Great now I’m gonna have to teach Sofia to watch out for Grandma. What does Dad say about the sweaters Abbie wears Q? I bet it something snarky.
I think Dad’s gotten used to Abbie’s edgy style over the years…although, Mom always mentions something whenever she’s sporting something new. Mainly “you spend so much money on the dog.”
Two sweaters each year, around $10-20 each. I spent more on lunch today.
