Ready. Set. Sleepy.

Abbie goes through a pretty specific routine every time I load her in the car for a trip to anywhere.
Usually, she starts off pretty excited that we’re off somewhere hopefully exciting for her. Then, as we get moving, she’ll start to nod off slowly. Then, without warning, I’ll have a sleepy Abbie on my hands…usually within the first few minutes of our drive.
Even though she’s supposed to be my navigator, I really don’t mind a sleeping Abbie. After all, a well rested Abbie means she’ll have all the energy she needs to take on whatever adventure I’m driving her to, which means more fun for all of us.

The Daily Abbie 
Not much of a navigator is she. At least she doesn’t get car sick. Izzy & Mo just bark at everything. MacGuyver usually looked bored except when he spied a truck. Then he usually went ballistic. Maybe he was a redneck in a past life. Balloo just usually whined until we get to where we needed to be…which is usually the vet. Maybe that’ why they didn’t like car ride very much.
